"Our 9th year at this establishment, we're booked for next year..."
This motel is right across the street from the south shore of Lake Okanogan. The view is incredible, the lakeshore is groomed sand. The motel itself is clean, well maintained, with a friendly accomodating staff. Units range from 1 to 3 bedroom. Most have fully equipped kitchens. Prices are in line with moderately priced nice hotels. We go up with a small motorcycle club, they are very motorcycle friendly. Our group usually tries to rent the front ground floor 3 bedroom unit, which one member works very hard to find room mates for. That unit comes with an enclosed yard right on the lakeside of the motel which includes a gas barbeque. Nice for group parties and get togethers. It would work very well for family outings too. Some of the upper story rooms offer multiple bedrooms and verandas with a barbeque and outdoor dining table. The activities in and around Penticton are too numerous to list. There is a ski resort less that 30 km away in the winter. Water sports in the summer. Numerous great drives if you have a sports car or motorcycle. Dozens of wineries a short drive away, and numerous well planned and executed events throughout the year. The climate is beautiful if you like sun and semi-arid weather.
